Privacy policy.
This Privacy Policy describes how Consuligence ("Consuligence", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit consuligence.com (the "Site"), contact us, or use our services. It also describes your rights and choices regarding your personal information.
By using the Site, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
Consuligence is a registered digital marketing company. Digital products are sold separately through Consuligence Digital Studio at consuligence.digital, which is governed by the policies presented there and at the point of sale. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Consuligence is the controller of personal information collected through this Site.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly. When you use our contact form, email us, or book a call, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include: your name; email address; company name or website; the area you need help with; and the contents of your message. If you engage us as a client, we may additionally collect billing details and information reasonably necessary to deliver the engagement.
2.2 Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically log standard technical information, including: IP address; browser type and version; device type and operating system; referring pages; pages viewed and time spent; and approximate (city-level) location derived from IP address. This information is used for security, performance, and aggregate analytics, not to identify you personally.
2.3 Information from third-party scheduling. If you book a call, scheduling is provided by Calendly. The information you enter there (such as name, email, and selected time) is collected by Calendly under its own privacy policy and shared with us so we can hold the meeting.
2.4 What we do not collect. We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (such as health, religious, or biometric data), and we ask that you do not submit such information through the Site.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to: respond to your enquiries and provide information you request; schedule and conduct calls; prepare proposals and deliver services you engage us for; administer, secure, and improve the Site; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Where consent is required for any use, we will ask for it.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where data protection law (such as the EU/UK GDPR or the Swiss FADP) applies, we process personal information on the following bases: (a) legitimate interests — responding to enquiries, operating and securing the Site, and conducting our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; (b) performance of a contract — where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, or to perform one; (c) legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information by law; and (d) consent — where we ask for it, which you may withdraw at any time.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site is designed to be lightweight. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not display third-party advertising. Essential technical mechanisms required to serve the Site (for example, those used by our hosting provider for security and load balancing) may be used. If we introduce analytics that use cookies, we will update this Policy and, where required, request your consent. Third-party embeds you choose to interact with (such as Calendly) may set their own cookies under their own policies.
6. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share personal information only with: (a) service providers that help us operate — currently including web hosting and form processing (e.g. Netlify), call scheduling (Calendly), font delivery (Google Fonts), and email — each processing only what is needed to provide its function; (b) professional advisers (such as accountants or lawyers) where reasonably necessary; (c) authorities where disclosure is required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property; and (d) a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information.
7. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy: enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records; client engagement records are kept for the duration of the engagement and as required for legal, accounting, and tax purposes; and technical logs are retained for the short periods set by our infrastructure providers. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including serving the Site over HTTPS and limiting access to information to what is necessary. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will act in accordance with applicable law.
10. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; restrict or object to certain processing; receive your information in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email hi@consuligence.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. Children
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Site links to external sites and services, including consuligence.digital, Calendly, and Gumroad. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. We are not responsible for their practices.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site where practicable. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
14. Contact us
